I’m Deborah, from the Hebrew meaning “bee” or “kick-ass prophetess and judge.”

Basically like that.
I am a writer and a bibliophile, living in an apartment walled in books somewhere north of Atlanta. I share this Exceptional and Excessively Dense Book Cave with my best friend, whom I tripped over decades ago and married on the winter solstice a while back. We are the willing subjects to two feline tyrants, and work in the financial industry to keep them in catnip and tuna.
They don’t appreciate this nearly as much as they should, but such are the vagaries of cats and kings.
Yet you’re here for the writer bit! Yes. I write short fiction and poetry, primarily of the stripe that gets shelved in Science Fiction & Fantasy in the bookstores. My poetry can be read in Scheherezade’s Bequest and The Pedestal Magazine, as well as here on my website.
